It cures different ailments and longevity. Pure Honey is loaded with live enzymes and the live enzymes in the Pure Honey is what is curing all different kinds of ailments in your body. If you heat Pure Honey past 117° Fahrenheit, 48° Celsius, you start to destroy the live enzymes in the Pure Honey and you are left with a glorified sweetener. In order to filter the bee pollen out of the Pure Honey you have to heat the Pure Honey to 160° Fahrenheit. By doing this to the Pure Honey you are virtually destroying the goodness in the Pure Honey. You have to appreciate that we do not tamper in any way with our Pure Honey, as the bees leave it, that is the way the customer receives it and that is why it is called Pure Honey.
![]() For the person who purchased a container of Pépé's Pure Honey and it did not taste or look the same colour as the last container they had. First, you have to appreciate that we do not tamper in any way with our honey. As the bees leave it, that is the way the customer has it, and that is why it is called pure honey. You have to understand that honey that is harvested in Shelburne County will not have the same color, or the same bouquet, or the same taste as honey that is harvested in Lunenburg County, or vice versa. The reason for that is simple, bees are collecting nectar from different flowers in different areas. For the honey connoisseurs that do come across a container of honey that is pleasing to his or her palate, they should be encouraged by the staff to stock up as much as they can afford. It could be a whole year before they come across a super tasting honey again, as we harvest honey only one time per year here in the province of Nova Scotia. Bearing in mind that Pure Honey has a shelf life of forever, there is no chance of your Pure Honey spoiling. This way, one can purchase a whole year's supply until next harvest.
Thank you and have a nice day!
