- 2 - 1 lb. chick peas or 2 - 540 ml. cans of chick peas (If canned you don't have to soak overnight)
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1 cup pure honey
Wash peas and cover with water and soak overnight. Next morning bring water to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer over low heat 1 3/4 hours. Gently blend in salt, pepper, spices and pure honey. Pour into casserole and cover. Bake at 350º F for 30-35 minutes. Enjoy
